Design Details
The interface is deliberately minimal — distraction-free writing with markdown support, but powerful when you need it. Search is fast and contextual, tags are optional, and organization emerges naturally through links.
Technical Implementation

- Local-first architecture with SQLite for instant performance
- Real-time sync across devices using CRDTs
- Full-text search with fuzzy matching and semantic ranking
Reception
Atlas launched to a small community of knowledge workers and quickly grew through word-of-mouth. Users report spending less time organizing and more time thinking — exactly the goal.
